Privacy policy

The data controller for information collected through drmela.gr is Dimitra Mela, Pediatrician (Monis Faneromenis 5, Agios Nikolaos 721 00, Greece, dr.dimitramela@gmail.com).

What we collect. When you book online: parent/guardian name, phone, email, the child's name (optional) and age, the appointment type and any note you enter. Via the contact form: your name, contact details and message. The site uses no advertising cookies and shares no data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Why. Solely to schedule and confirm appointments and to reply to your messages (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Patients' medical records are kept separately at the practice, as the law requires, and are not part of this website.

Where. On a secure server within the EU. Confirmation emails are sent via an email service provider acting as a processor.

For how long. Booking details are kept for up to 24 months after the appointment and then deleted, unless the law requires longer retention.

Your rights. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr). For any request, write to dr.dimitramela@gmail.com.
